James “Jim” Gibson Jr was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 28, 1987 and departed this life on Monday, March 2, 2026 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was 38 years old. He is the son of James Gibson Sr. and Michelle (Flaugher) Gibson of Tyner.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Hannah (Smith) and their children, Starrlynn (Trevor) Gibson, Olivia Gibson (Zack Vickers) and Aria Gibson all of Tyner. He was blessed with one grandchild Rozlynn Neace. His grandparents Joe and Shirley Isaacs of McKee and Debra Flaugher of Ohio. As well as one sister Christina (Joseph) Lewis of Radcliff, KY.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Lakes Funeral Home Bradshaw Chapel with Bro. Ashley Noe presiding. Burial will follow in the York Cemetery. Pallbearers include James Gibson Sr., Trevor Neace, Zach Vickers, Logan Bowdan, Ethan Stamper, BJ, Jordan Ford and Chris Stewart.
A visitation will begin at 11 A.M. on Saturday at the Lakes Funeral Home Bradshaw Chapel.
