JCHS 59th Annual Donkey Basketball Game

The 59th annual Donkey Basketball Game was held Friday November 7, 2025. The Jackson County FFA had a crowd of over 600 people in attendance. The funds raised from the event will be used to help students pay for travel expenses to the National FFA convention, purchase FFA jackets, and travel expenses to FFA contests and events.

There were nine of the Kentucky FFA State Officers in attendance and they came to defend their title from last year's event. They faced off in the first round of the night against the JCHS underclassmen and won with a score of 4-0.

The first game of the night featured the JCHS Officer team against the upperclassmen. The upperclassmen won that game with a score of 2-0. Donkey rides were provided to children 12 and under at half time.

Rounding out the night the FFA State Officers played the upperclassmen and won with a final score of 8-0. PRTC streamed the event on PRTCTV. Thank you to everyone who attended and made the event possible.
