The JCHS Academic Team braved the cold and secured the Champion position at this year’s 48th District Governor’s Cup!
With 1st Place All-Around in standings and 1st Place in Quick Recall, this team has demonstrated how Jackson County kids are the best of the best in their academic excellence!!
Here are the individual placements:
Addan Witt earned 1st Place in Arts & Humanities and 1st Place in Mathematics,
Miley Bowles earned 2nd Place in Science and 2nd Place in Arts & Humanities,
Anna Roark earned 2nd Place in Language Arts and 2nd Place in Mathematics,
Gabriel Gross earned 1st Place in Science,
Owen Gray earned 5th Place in Social Studies,
Bella Peters earned 2nd Place in Social Studies and 3rd Place in Written Composition, with Jaxon Turner rounding out our stellar Quick Recall team.
Wish these students the best of luck as they ALL have advanced to the Regional Governor’s Cup in Quick Recall, as well as the respective categories they placed in today.
