• Mr. Harris has the V- School classes moving in full swing. Mr. Adkins automotive class is working on a special project with a drag car build.

• AD Parker Stewart and Mrs. Smith have worked diligently in organizing Friday night tailgating field-side to cheer on the Generals. If you have questions or are interested in setting up on the infield with us, don't hesitate to get in touch with Coach Stewart at 287-7155.

• Home Volleyball 10-9-25 vs South Laurel (Last home game prior to District)
• Overall attendance at JCHS yesterday was 93%. Our JR class is leading the way for overall attendance for the year. They were rewarded last week with a movie and refreshments.
• Mr. Coffey has been working diligently on School safety. He met with John Crawford yesterday to tour the building and go over emergency action plans.
• Mrs. Boggs has been focusing on working with new teachers on planning and questioning techniques to improve academic dialogue in each classroom.
• Vacated spots on site base were filled after elections by Angela Moore (Parent rep) and Chris Collins (Teacher Rep)
• We want to welcome William Hibbits to our staff as the New 9th-grade English Teacher.
• Mid-Terms were sent out last week. If your child is struggling academically, you should have received a call from their teacher. Feel free to call and set up an appointment to meet with teachers during their planning period if you have any concerns or questions. You can also email teachers at any time.
• JCHS Students experienced their first club day last Tuesday as Club sponsors met with their students.
