STLP News
Congratulations to both of our STLP teams for advancing to STATE competition at Rupp Arena in April! The projects and team members advancing to state are:
Cinderella’s Closet - Kasey Bowman and Kaylie Riddell.
The Generals School Store - Courtney Carpenter, Olivia Gibson and Elizabeth Thomas
These students lead each project at our school. They conducted research, prepared a presentation, and shared their presentation with a group of judges from all over the state. The teams will continue working on the projects throughout the school year and will present updates to judges at the state level competition.
We would like to send a special thanks to Mrs. Bridgette McCowan for serving as a volunteer judge for STLP students across the state.

We would like to thank the Walmart DC 6097 associates in London, KY for their generous food donation to Jackson County High School. Your support makes a real difference for our students and families. Special thanks to the JCHS ROTC for their help and to YSC Director Julia McCowan for her help with this effort. We appreciate this amazing community partnership!
