Joey Edwards was born March 10, 1964, in Richmond, IN and departed this life Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, at the age of 59. He was the son of the late Grant Edwards and Loretta Faye (Mercer) Edwards.
Joey is survived by his wife, Penny Edwards of Rockcastle County and by three children, Joseph Edwards (Kayla Durham), Justin (Kimberly) Edwards and Ashley (Quinton) Hollan all of McKee. Other survivors include his siblings, Tim (Crystal) Edwards and Tammy Kay Estes both of McKee and Jackie (Jeff) Wyrick of Blue Ridge, Geogia. Joey was blessed with five grandchildren, Chase, Nathan & Haylee Hollan, Jaxson Edwards and Kylie Gilbert.
