Julia Ann Vickers was born December 6, 1978, in Richmond, KY and departed this life on Monday, December 25, 2023 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington at the age of 45.
Julia was the daughter of her “little mommy” Rita Brown of Tyner. She is leaving behind the love of her life Pernell Vickers of Tyner, the son of Jim & Marilyn Vickers of Cambridge City, IN; two sons, Trey Vickers and wife Jessica of Lexington, Tyler Vickers of Tyner; beloved brother, Benjie Baldwin and his wife Nicki. Julia was blessed with her niece Breana Baldwin, nephew Bryson Baldwin and grand daughter Eva Vickers whom she adored. By a sister-in-law, Shannon Turner and her husband Mike along with her two sons, Andrew & Arron all of Hagerstown, IN. Also, by a special friend Randy Gilbert who thought of her as a daughter. Other survivors include a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved her dearly. She is also survived by her dad, Vernon Baldwin of McKee and half-brother, Austin Baldwin.
Julia was preceded in death by “baby Vickers”.
Julia was a member of the Seven Pines Pentecostal Church and had been a clerk for the Jackson County Fiscal Court for the past ten years.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the Seven Pentecostal Church with Bro. Shane Gabbard, Bro. Quint East and Bro. Brian Gabbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Andy Brown Cemetery at Tyner. Pallbearers: Trey Vickers, Tyler Vickers, Bryson Baldwin, Benjie Baldwin, Charlie Russell, Monroe Brown, Andrew Tompkins and Charlie Brown.
