Julia Melba Moore passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 being 85 years old. She was born on August 18, 1938 to the late Thomas (Doc) and Lucy Callahan.
Julia is survived by one son Robert “Bobby Gene” Callahan of Berea, and two siblings; Bobby Callahan of Midway and Brenda (Donald)Callahan Coots of London. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mary Ann and Doug Johnson, Pamela Horne, April Abrams, Melissa McKinney, Kayla Baker, Joshua Callahan, Michael Callahan, Tristan and Abigail Johnson, Zackory and Sheila Johnson, Isaac Rawlins, Brandon and Nita Rawlins, Justin and Rachel Rawlins, Joshua Rawlins, Robert Logan Johnson. As well as 20 great grandchildren ad 13 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Julia was proceeded in death by her husband Robert M. Moore and two children; Violet Diane Abrams and Roger Callahan. As well as the following siblings; Sherman Callahan, Farris Callahan, Jack Callahan, Joe Callahan, Tommy Callahan and Ethal Callahan Hampton. And one grandchild, Issac Caldwell.
Julia was of the holiness faith and was a member of the Pine Grove Pentecostal Holiness Assembly.
A graveside service for Mrs. Julia will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 2P.M. at the Pine Grove Cemetery with Rev. Sidney Sparks officiating. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfunerahome.com
