Julie Lynn (McKinney) Blevins was born August 17, 1978, in Irvine, KY and departed this life Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, at the age of 47. She was the daughter of Bonnie Lou (Lakes) McKinney and of the late Lloyd “D. Bug” McKinney.
In addition to her mother, Julie is also survived by two children, Jessica Leeann Blevins (Andrew Eversole) of McKee and Charles Phillip Herbert D. “C.J.” Blevins of McKee and by her siblings, Lloyd Dale McKinney. Richard McKinney & Holly, Patty Cornett, June McKinney (Billy Robinson), Mary Ann Rose & Daniel, Bandit McKinney and Bobbie McCowan & Lelve.
Other survivors include, nieces and nephews, Melinda, Abby, Jake, Cassandra, Raz & Jennifer; great nieces and nephews, Cheyenne, Shelbie, Wyatt Eugene her mother-in-law, Mildred Blevins; aunts and uncles, Julie (Randy) Smith, Brenda Lakes, Maddie Sue (Everett) McKinney, & Sandy Lakes; by a special aunt & uncle, Opal Kay & Ronnie Maggard. And by several cousins. In addition to her father, Julie was also preceded in death by her uncle, Gene Lakes.
