Both Kevin & Michelle, Kayla’s mother, are proud of the daughter they shared together. They raised her to be independent, self-sufficient, humble, kind, compassionate & taught her to help others in need. Kevin was a fierce protector of Kayla. He taught her all the typical fatherly things such as learning how drive, hunting, fishing, & shooting guns. Kevin had a tough exterior, but Kayla was his heart. To Kayla, she is blessed & proud to be his daughter. She is thankful that God chose Kevin to be her father and he was a perfect one in her eyes.

He carried a presence of strength & safety. He was the definition of a hard worker & gave 100% no matter what he was doing. He researched every detail about something until it was perfected. Throughout his life, Kevin had numerous entrepreneurial businesses including stereo systems, ATV’s, game rooms, tree services, landscaping, etc. For some of which he received additional training & certifications. He also obtained an Associate’s degree. He could truly do it all. He was a jack of all trades. Kevin also had a green thumb. He loved planting & growing a huge garden each year even though he himself did not enjoy most of the food. He planted it for his mother’s enjoyment & gave the rest away to others. Growing up, he enjoyed cars, stereo systems, ATVs, and hunting & fishing with family. He enjoyed time spent working with his Kubota, playing pool or working on equipment with his father & spending time with his family & his dogs.
