Larry Wayne Bowling was born March 13, 1955 in Clay County and departed this life Thursday, December 14, 2023 at his residence in Annville, at the age of 68. He was the son of the late Luther & Maddie (Smith) Bowling.
Larry is survived by his wife, Lori (Barrett) Bowling of Annville; by two children, Mike (Sara) Bowling of Annville and Lyn (Jason) Gabbard of Annville and by a brother, Ed (Mona) Bowling of Hamilton, Ohio. He was blessed with two grandchildren, Peytan Bowling and Maycee Bowling.
In addition to his parents, Larry was also preceded in death by the following siblings, Oscar Bowling, Luther Bowling Jr., Ronnie Bowling, Ezell Jones, Gladys Bowling, Evie Bowling, Edith Bowling and Lois Scott.
Larry was a member of the Faith Baptist Church and had been a Fire Chief at the Pond Volunteer Fire Department for 18 years.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, December 18, 2023 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Thomas and Bro. Danny Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Annville Cemetery.
