Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Leonard Ingram
Leonard Ingram, age 88, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 13, 2026, passing peacefully in Moore’s Creek in Annville, Kentucky on his family farm, the place he was born.
Born on April 9,1938 to Dan and Eunice Ingram. On March 31, 1956, he married the love of his life, Lola Bingham Ingram. Together, they built a home centered on the gospel, sharing many years of a marriage marked by deep mutual respect, laughter, and prayer. Leonard was a faithful member of Green Hill Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He was often heard reminding you to “read the red writing” and when asking him a question, he would ask you, “what does the bible say?” His life was a testimony to Christ.
He leaves behind a rich legacy of love, devotion, and spiritual leadership that will guide his family for generations to come. His life was a living testament to the power of consistent faith, and the heritage he leaves behind is written on the hearts of his family and friends.
Leonard considered his family to be his greatest earthly blessing and his most important ministry. His children and grandchildren will forever cherish the memories of his storytelling and conversations about gardening, scripture, and guidance in all things. His greatest joy was knowing that his children and grandchildren walked in the truth of the Lord. The legacy of his prayers will continue to surround them all the days of their lives.
Leonard’s greatest priority on this earth was ensuring his family knew the depth of God's love. He took immense pride in his children and grandchildren, not for their worldly achievements, but for their character and faith. He spent intentional time with each of them, planting seeds of truth, laughter, and love that will continue to grow for generations. His family takes great comfort in knowing that the prayers he prayed over them during his lifetime will continue to bear fruit.
