Leroy Dee Harrison age 100, departed this life on Saturday, June 3, 2024, at his residence in Crab Orchard, Kentucky. He is the son of the late Roy and Elizabeth Baker Harrison
Dee is survived by the following children: Bill (Debbie) Harrison of Shelbyville Indiana, Marvin (Virgie) Harrison and Joey Middleton of Indianapolis, Indiana. Tannis (Jerry) Shelton and Patricia Wilder of Crab Orchard, Kentucky. Linda Paxton of Indianapolis Indiana. As well as his stepchildren, Ruby Lake of Crab Orchard and Charlie Elam of Kings Mountain, Kentucky. Leroy was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 26 greatgrandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Dee was proceeded in death by his son Roy Harrison and his siblings; Bro. Bob Harrison, Burlin Harrison, Dave Harrison, Margie Miller and Pearl Vernon.
Dee was a veteran from the United States Army having served in World War II.
Funeral services for Dee will be held at 3 P.M. on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee with Bro. Dewey Harrison and Bro. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrison Cemetery in McKee. Visitation will begin at 6 P.M. on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the Lakes Funeral Home.
