Scott D. Davenport, 47, of Lexington, KY, appeared before Judge Henria Bailey-Lewis in District Court on March 23, 2026, for an arraignment hearing in Case #26-F-00042.
Davenport was arrested by the Lexington Police Department on March 16, 2026, during the execution of Complaint Warrant #E05510005121521.
The complaint warrant was obtained by Jackson County Attorney Ross Murray on January 10, 2026. The complaint alleges that Davenport violated KRS 530.050 (2)(a) flagrant nonsupport, in that he has persistently failed to provide support which he reasonably can provide and which he knows he has a duty to provide by virtue of a court or administrative order.
According to the complaint warrant, this alleged failure of support in IV-D#:4299560 has resulted in an arrearage of child support of more than two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00). Child support was ordered by the Jackson County Family Court beginning on March 10, 2009, in the amount of $60.00 per month. The complaint warrant alleges that Davenport became $2,502.58 delinquent on August 31, 2012.
Davenport entered a “not guilty” plea at the arraignment hearing, and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for April 06, 2026.
As in all cases at this stage of adjudication the charges are allegations and the defendant is presumed innocent until provided due process and determined to be guilty by the court.
