Lois VanWinkle was born on January 28, 1945 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky and departed this life on June 6, 2024 being 79 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Stella Hensley Hazelwood.
Lois is survived by her loving husband of 59 and half years, William Jay. She is also survived by her siblings; Bobby (Joyce) Hazelwood of McKee, Johnny Hazelwood of Corbin, Billy (Phyllis) Hazelwood of Paint Lick, Jimmy (Joyce) Hazelwood of Berea and Mary (Larry) Campbell of McKee. Lois is survived by her special nieces Monica (Aaron) Baker and Ashley Campbell as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Lois will be held at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 2P.M. with Bro. Stanley VanWinkle and Bro. Shawn Sowder officiating. Burial will follow in the Cox Cemetery in McKee. Visitation will begin at 6 P.M. on Saturday June 8, 2024 at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee.
