Margaret Jean Paul was born April 16, 1940 in Jackson County and departed this life Monday, June 29, 2026 at the age of 86. She was the daughter of the late Claude & Francis (Jackson) Baker.
Jean is survived by her son, Ron Paul; by three grandchildren, Zack Paul, Josh Paul and Alli Horn and by six great-grand-children, Nevaeh Collings, Justin May, Madisyn Collings, Madilynn Collings, Trevor Collings and Nathaniel Horn. Also, two great grandchildren baby Paul and Addison. She was blessed with a special caretaker, Robin Paul.
In addition to her parents, Jean was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Paul and by her siblings, Tilford Baker, Doug Baker, Wayne Baker, Denver Baker, Arnold Baker, Jackie Baker, Charlene Hays, Gladys Tincher and Beatrice Harrison.
Funeral services will be held 8:00 PM Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Horn officiating. Burial will be 1:00 PM at the Owenton Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
