Marsha Taylor, born November 30, 1973, in Berea Kentucky, to the late A.J. Taylor and Beulah Van Winkle, went to her eternal home on September 26, 2025.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Odell Taylor and her precious Grandma, Minnie Van Winkle.
She is survived by her son Stephen Taylor and her daughter Kenyatta (Sean) Long, a brother Tim (Terry) Miles, sister Cheryl Isaacs, and three nephews and niece, Tim Miles, Matt Miles, Kory Isaacs and Melissa Fields. Lastly, she is survived by the apple of her eyes, her grandbaby Mallorie Long.
Marsha graduated from Eastern Kentucky with her bachelor’s degree. She later attended Ohio Northern University, where she obtained her law degree, doctorate, and her PhD. She was a member of the Supreme Court. Marsha also attended Three Links Christian Church since her early teens.
Funeral services for Marsha will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, with Bro. Jack Martin and Bro. Grant Martin officiating. Marsha will be laid to rest next to her mother in the Van Winkle Cemetery. Pallbearers include Stephen Taylor, Sean Long, Tim Miles, and Timmy Miles.
A visitation will begin at 11 A.M. on Wednesday at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee.
