Minnie Lou Vaughn was born July 12, 1941, in Owsley County and departed this life Friday, January 23, 2026, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, at the age of 84. She was the daughter of the late Basil & Frances Taylor.
Minnie is survived by her daughter, Abbie Keyton and her husband Mike. She was blessed with three grandsons, Christopher Chase (Adair) Keyton, Brandon Michael (Kendra) Keyton and Brandon Scott (Dakota) Gross and by six great grandchildren, Kenley Keyton, Cayden Gross, Teslyn Gross, Landon Keyton, Otto Keyton and Blakeley Keyton. She is also survived by three siblings, Nadina Terry of Middletown, Ohio, Brad Taylor of Middletown, Ohio and Paul Taylor of Owsley Co.
In addition to her parents, Minnie was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert “Ab” Vaughn, Jr.; by her son, Rick Vaughn; by a sister Ann Tyree and by three brothers, Vernon Taylor, Bob Taylor and Fennor Taylor.
