Paul David Montgomery of Tyner, KY was born February 27, 1962, in Laurel County and departed this life Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY at the age of 63. He was the son of the late Geneva Frances (Montgomery) Coffey.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Shahhanna (Montgomery) Cavender (John Cavender Jr.) of Griffin, GA, by a brother, Harold (Kay) Tyree of Tyner, and a sister, Sheila Gail (Mark) Sizemore of Tyner. He was blessed with three grandchildren, Brayden Montgomery of Blackshear, GA, Skylar “Moon-Pie” Cavender of Griffin, GA and Taegin Cavender of Griffin, GA.
In addition to his mother, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Tyree.
