Jackson County, Lee County & Owsley County, Kentucky – The 2026 Boone Forest Rally returns to Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, July 25, 2026, bringing nationally recognized rally racing to the scenic roads of the Daniel Boone National Forest and surrounding communities.
To ensure the safety of competitors, volunteers, spectators, and the public, temporary road closures will be in effect throughout the day. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow all directions from law enforcement and event officials.
The Boone Forest Rally is conducted with the cooperation and permission of the U.S. Forest Service and the Lee County Fiscal Court, along with numerous local, state, and community partners.
Expected Road Closure Times
The following roads are expected to close approximately 45–60 minutes before the first competition vehicle enters each stage and will remain closed until the official sweep vehicle has completed the course.
Jackson County
* Mill Creek 1 – Road closes approximately 8:00 a.m.
* Turkey Foot 1 – Road closes approximately 8:30 a.m.
* S Tree Tower 1 – Road closes approximately 9:15 a.m.
* Mill Creek 2 – Road closes approximately 10:15 a.m.
* Turkey Foot 2 – Road closes approximately 11:00 a.m.
* S Tree Tower 2 – Road closes approximately 11:45 a.m.
Lee County
* Hale Ridge 1 – Road closes approximately 3:30 p.m.
* White Ash 1 – Road closes approximately 4:15 p.m.
* Hale Ridge 2 – Road closes approximately 5:45 p.m.
* White Ash 2 – Road closes approximately 6:30 p.m.
Road closure times are approximate and may be adjusted by event officials or law enforcement as necessary for public safety.
Official Spectator Locations
For everyone’s safety, spectators are asked to view the event only from the designated spectator areas identified in the official spectator guide.

Please arrive early, as access to spectator areas will be restricted once roads are closed. Follow all instructions from rally marshals, volunteers, and law enforcement personnel.
