As the summer winds down and a new school year begins, Jackson County High School extends a warm welcome back to all of our students, staff, and families. We are excited to open our doors for the 2025–2026 academic year and look forward to another year of learning, growth, and community.
At JCHS, we remain committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed. This year, we are placing a renewed focus on academic excellence, student well-being, and preparing our students for life beyond high school. Whether it's through classroom learning, career and technical education, athletics, or the arts, we want every student to find their passion and their path.
We also welcome new staff members who bring fresh ideas and energy to our school family. Their dedication and experience will only strengthen the great work already being done here in McKee.
To our parents and guardians: thank you for your continued support and partnership. Your involvement plays a vital role in the success of our students and school community. We encourage you to stay connected throughout the year through school events, parent-teacher meetings, and ongoing communication with teachers and staff.
Let’s work together to make this school year the best yet. Here's to a successful 2025–2026 at Jackson County High School — where tradition meets opportunity, and our students are always at the heart of everything we do.
Go Generals!
Yours in Academics and Athletics,
Greg Parrett
