Margaret Marcum Obituary

Margaret Marcum of 51 Cavins Cemetery Road in Tyner passed away November 17, 2024, at the age of 65, she was born December 15, 1958.

Margaret was proceeded in death by her father, Junior Gross and mother, Cora Belt, her brother Bobby Gross, and her sister Linda Simth. Margaret loved her family and was beyond proud of her legacy which is her children and grandchildren. 

She is survived by her son Shane Harris (fiancé Taylor) and his children, Emily Nicholas, Shakira, Seth, Zarina and Hayden, his stepchildren, Piper and Anna of Berea. Her daughter Sheena Sparks and her children; Kaleb Peters, Katie Dixon and Keevon Dixon. Her daughter Kashanda Smith (Rusty) and their children Noah and Addison of Laurel Creek. Shania Collett Johnson (Steven) and their children; Kaenan, Kendalynn and Waylon of Lily.

Margaret was proud of her grandchildren as well as her great grandchildren, Levi, Weston, Naomi, Asher and Ameila.

Margaret is survived by her brothers, Hershel Gross, Thomas Gross, Donnie Gross and her sister Lisa Wilhoit.

She was a loving aunt, sister mother and friend. Margaret had a wonderful caregiver Alisha that she thought the world of.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday November 20, 2024, with Bro. Jeffery Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Gross Cemetery. Pallbearers include Steven Johnson, Shane Harris, Brandon Gross, Rusty Smith, Billy Whilhoit and William Gross.
