Emily M Brandenburg Obituary

Emily M Brandenburg, age 84, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Landmark of Iroquois Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Emily was originally from Tyner and McKee, Kentucky. She attended McKee High School. Later she resided in Shively, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis H. Brandenburg, Sr.; her parents, Reverend John and Nora Gilbert; her sister, Icie Gilbert and six brothers, Johnathon, Riley, Carl, Andrew, Paul, and Nathaniel Gilbert.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jamie Brandenburg and two sons, Willis H. Brandenburg, Jr. (Mary Anne) and Johnathan Brandenburg; 2 grandchildren, Erin Bourne (Jeffery) and Matthew Brandenburg; and 2 great grandchildren, Braxton and Brenalynn Bourne.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2024 at Arch L. Heady & Son - Taylor Blvd. burial will follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery in Lebanon, Kentucky.
