Archery Season Has Begun!

On January 25[th], 2025, 18 JCMS archery students went to Lee County Middle School to compete in Bobcat Shootout. Jaxson Dozier was the team's highest scoring boy with a score of 244, next highest boy score was Nick Seals shooting 243. The girls highest score was Remmie Bingham with a 234, followed by Cheyenne Gibson with a score of 233. All the students done great, Coach Bingham is proud of his team.
The Tyner Elementary Archery Team Coach Jeannena Summers reported, "Super excited for our cardinals to kick off our 2025 Archery Season. Saturday our Cardinals participated in the NLMS Jaguar State Qualifier. We had some excellent scores for our first match. Really proud of all of our kiddos. Our top 5 archers yesterday were:
Jake Madden (226), Easton Lakes (208), Sadie Ratliff (187), Bentlee Collins (163), and Josie Scalf (148). Jake's score was top 25 among 5th grade boys!! We are so excited for this season and look forward to our next match.
Sand Gap Elementary reported, "Our first Archery tournament of the year, Great job Tigers! We were 4th place has a team in elementary division, with Micheal 3rd place in individual boys, along with Cole 4th place in individual boys. Tigers Rock!"
