Pauline Welsh Obituary

Pauline Welsh, age 90 of Ross, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025. She was born on November 1, 1934 in Jackson County, Kentucky the daughter of Burgoyne and Lucy (Combs) Whittamore. Pauline worked as the manager of Dairy Queen years ago. She loved to play Bunco and enjoyed playing Bingo at the old Ross Firehouse. She was also a member of the Ross Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary when it first started. She enjoyed Thursday morning bowling at Columbia Lanes. Pauline is survived by her children, Michael (Kathy) Sharp, Theresa (Frank) Rye and Tina (Scott Stewart) Welsh; beloved grandchildren, Mikey Sharp, Frank (Edie) Rye, Vanessa Jessie, Karen (Mike) Lintz, Sarah (Jim) Rhoads, Christina (Matt) Tarbat and Gregory (girlfriend Lauren Haines) Stewart; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren with one more on the way; and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond Welsh, two daughters Patricia Sharp and Carolyn Riley, two brothers John Edward Whittamore and Charles Whittamore. A visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Rd. Ross, Ohio on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 6:30 PM. Burial will take place in Sand Gap, Kentucky. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Hamilton.
