A woman drove into a Broomfield Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Tuesday while reportedly trying to put her flip-flops on, according to Broomfield police.

Officers responded to the Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen at 74 W. Flatiron Crossing Drive Tuesday for a crash involving a car and a building, according to a Broomfield police post on X.

The woman said she took her flip-flops off while driving. As she pulled into the parking lot, she attempted to put them back on, but they were under the pedals, according to the post. The woman reported to police that her foot caught the accelerator, and she pushed it to the floor, causing her to drive into the building.

Police said that no one was injured in the crash.
