Frankfort Police Report Death of Child Walking to Bus Stop Due to Floodwaters

A child is dead after being swept away by floodwaters in Kentucky.

Frankfort police say it happened around 6:30 Friday morning in the Hickory Hills area.

We’re told a juvenile male was walking to the school bus stop when he was caught up in floodwaters.

After a search, we’re told the boy’s body was found around 8:45 a.m.
