Update on Lakes Summit Plex McCammon Ridge Project

Today, I am providing a spending summary below on the community project that Representative Truett and Senator Stivers were able to leverage for Jackson County from State Funds. 

In order to keep our community informed on where we are and what we have spent so far, I wanted to share a rundown of costs that we have incurred in this important community project. I realize that in years past there have been many community endeavors that have been questioned concerning funding, follow through procedures and lack of information. 

When we started having public meetings on this project I was asked if we could provide how much had been spent and what it was being spent on. I am glad to provide that information as we go along. 

So far, we have purchased the land, had it surveyed and everything is recorded and in the Fiscal Court's name. We will be advertising a community announcement soon for this project as well as scheduling another community input session. I am excited to see this project moving forward.
