Continuing their busy week, the Lady Generals traveled to Williamsburg on Thursday. With the 7th and 8th grades combining for one game due to team size in the All A conference, both the 6th grade and the combined 7/8 grade teams secured wins, adding to their successful start.

Saturday was a particularly exciting day for the 6th grade Lady Generals as they competed in the Cecil Green Classic in Berea. This large tournament featured 20 teams in the 6th grade division. The Lady Generals delivered an impressive string of performances, going undefeated throughout the weekend to clinch the championship. They overcame South Laurel, Nelson County, Clay County, and Farristown on their way to the tournament title.

The action didn't stop there. Coming off a busy weekend, the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams faced the Lady Redhounds at Corbin Middle School on Monday night. The 6th grade team continued their winning streak, securing a 8-0 start to the season. The 7th and 8th grade teams put up a strong fight but ultimately fell to the tough Corbin squads.

Although busy, it has been a fantastic start to the season for the Lady Generals. The teams have shown resilience, skill, and a great team spirit. These young ladies represent Jackson County proudly.

Fans can look forward to supporting the Lady Generals in their first home game of the season on Thursday night against Pineville, scheduled for 6:00 PM. The JCMS Lady Generals will play their home games at the Jackson County High School, due to renovations at Jackson County Middle School.
