Nathan Cunigan Obituary

Nathan Cunigan, age 64 of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on November 29th, 2024 due to complications from an acute illness. Born on November 3rd, 1960 in Germany, Nathan was the son of Thomas A. Cunigan and JoAnn Cunigan (Combs) of Annville.
Nathan served his country as part of the United States Army and was a graduate of Jackson County High School, though his heart always remained with the Annville Institute as a true Blue Orange Bulldog. For 39 years, Nathan built a successful career in telecommunications earning respect for his dedication and expertise. Nathan was an animal enthusiast and bona fide naturist. He had a remarkable gift for making friends wherever he went.
Nathan is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tina; his children, Michael and Rebecca, two bonus children, Haylie Wiberg and Nathan Braaten and grandsons, Hunter and Bo Braaten. Nathan also leaves behind his siblings: Thomas Cunigan Jr. of Annville, Melody Zampogna of Portville, New York, and Rhonda Dodson of Stanford. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
In lieu of a funeral, the family will honor Nathan’s life with a memorial service in the spring of 2025.
Nathan’s humor, kindness, and altruism will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
