Terry Hammond

Terry Hammond, 70 of Sand Gap passed away on February 20, 2025, at Saint Joseph Hospital in London. He was born on April 15, 1954, in Logan, Ohio. Terry was raised by the late John R Johnson, who raised him as his own, and by his late mother Christine (Daughtery) Cope.

Terry is survived by his children, Tammy (Garrett) Isaacs of Sand Gap, Terry Lee Hammond, Bobby Lynn Hammond, Shawna (Shane) Harrison, Melissa (Lee) Rhodes all of Mckee and Michael Hammond (Becky) of Sand Gap. He is survived with fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Terry is survived by his sister and brothers, Cleta Harrison of Sand Gap, Lloyd Hammond of McKee, Steve (Janie) Hammond of Berea, Teresa (Carl) Warren and Gary (Wanda) Hammond of Eubank.

In addition to his mother, Terry was also proceeded in death by his father, Lloyd (Floyd) Hammond, his grandson Trevor Isaacs, his brother Michael Hammond and by two sisters Judy and Doris Hammond.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee with Bro. Wayne Carpenter presiding. Burial will follow at the Hammonds Cemetery on Lodge Hall. A visitation will begin at 11 A.M. on Tuesday at the Lakes Funeral Home Chapel.
