Glen Roy Baker Obituary

Glen Roy Baker was born October 3, 1947, in Jackson County and departed this life Monday, March 3, 2025, at his residence in McKee at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Roy & Edna (Berry) Baker.

Glen is survived by his loving wife, Mary Rose (Webb) Baker and by his children, Vicki Berry of London, Angie (Mike) Hisle of McKee and Kim (Chris) Partin of Williamsburg. He was blessed with the following grandchildren, Tyler Hisle, Cameron Hisle, Brooklyn Sparks, MaKayla Sampson, Kaylee Partin, Casen Partin, Josh Berry, Johnny Berry Jr. and Jessica Berry and by great-grandchildren, Kendrick Sampson, Cohen Sampson and Anistynn Sparks.

In addition to his parents, Glen was also preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Kaye Isaacs and Margie Riley.

Glen was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, daddy and grandpa who was loved dearly by his family and friends. 

 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Dewey Harrison and Bro. Justin Harrison officiating. Burial to follow in the Tal Martin Cemetery. Pallbearers: Chris Partin, Mike Hisle, Joseph Sampson, Tyler Hisle, Cameron Hisle, Tristan Bowman and Corey Sparks. Military services will be held by the local Jack Welch Chapter #165.
