Annville, KY Woman Arrested and Transported to Louisiana Jail

A Kentucky woman is in the Lafayette Parish jail after allegedly offering items for sale online and not producing them, authorities said.
Teresa Holcomb, 48, of Annville, Kentucky, is charged with two counts each of theft and illegal transmission of monetary funds.
In October 2024, the Louisiana State Police Insurance Fraud/Auto Theft unit, in collaboration with the Kentucky State Police, initiated an investigation into theft and illegal monetary transactions conducted through an online marketplace.

Detectives said Holcomb intentionally deprived an unidentified victim in Lafayette Parish of $1,330 through a widely-used digital payment platform and failed to deliver the promised goods, described as an antique collectors’ item.
As the investigation progressed, detectives uncovered evidence linking Holcomb to multiple fraudulent schemes, authorities said.
An arrest warrant was obtained, and Holcomb was arrested in Kentucky on Feb. 21, She was transported to the Lafayette Parish jail on March 21. She is being held on $5,000 bond.
