Alice Maxine Madden Obituary

Alice Maxine Madden, age 72, departed this life on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born November 10, 1952, to Bleve & Geneva (Abney) Metcalf. She was a homemaker and member of the Whispering Pines Baptist Church.

Alice is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harold Madden; one daughter Alice Renee Rice and her husband Andy Rice; two grandsons, Andrew Rice and Dustin Rice (and his fiancé) Taylor Bowling and a host of nieces and nephews she loved very much.

In addition to her parents, Alice was also preceded in death her son, Harold Wayne Madden; by her brothers and sisters, Arthur Peal Metcalf, James Darryl Metcalf, Velma Lee Metcalf, Irene Ray, Elois Wagoner, Pauline Hensley, Laura Evelyn Johnson, Joyce Gwendolyn Russell and Inez Melton; by one brother-in-law, Michael Madden and by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Raymond and Marie Madden.

 Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Mills and Bro. Bruce Madden officiating. Burial to follow in the Farmer’s Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
