McKee Man Arrested in Laurel County for Allegedly Violating EPO/DVO

Laurel County Sheriff John Root reported that Deputy Robert Smith arrested Brandon Michael Anderson, age 34, of McKee, KY, on Sunday evening, June 1, 2025, at approximately 7:26 PM.
The arrest occurred off Ray Johnson Road, approximately 6 miles northeast of London. Deputy Smith was dispatched by the London-Laurel County 911 Communication Center to address an out-of-control male subject at a residence in the area.
When Deputy Smith arrived at the scene, he observed Anderson standing in the roadway in front of his vehicle and in front of the residence where the complaint originated. An investigation ensued, and Deputy Smith learned that Anderson had allegedly violated an emergency protection order by being less than 500 feet from the petitioner.
Reportedly, Anderson had entered the residence uninvited and had been asked multiple times to leave, but he refused to comply. Eventually, this individual went outside the residence but began banging on the windows of the home.
Brandon Michael Anderson was charged with the violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO and criminal trespass - first-degree.
He was lodged in the Laurel County correctional center.
Assisting at the scene were Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen and Deputy Jared Hale.
