Odell Fields Obituary

Odell Fields was born October 8, 1939 in Lee County and departed this life Monday, September 9, 2024 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson-Breathitt, at the age of 84. He was the son of the late Hubert & Carrie (Mays) Fields.
Odell is survived by his children, Kevie Fields, Glendon Fields (Sissy Callahan) and Nathan Fields (Misty) all of Beattyville, Craig Fields of McKee, Laverne Stacy (Jessie) of Inez, Delredia Brandenburg (Steve Hilario) of Louisville, Evelyn Libal (Wade) of Rice, Tx and Ada Richeson (Robert) of Joshua, Tx. He is also survived by a sister, Ann Speakman of Arlington, Tx.  He was blessed with the following grandchildren, Jonathan Barjas, Jessica Marie Fields, Jared Thomas Moore (who preceded him in death), Caitlin Fields, Hunter Fields, Macee Richeson, Logan Fields, Tanner Libal, and Fynnlee Libal.
In addition to his parents, Odell was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma (Price) Fields; and by his siblings, Elroe Fields, Prentis Fields, Monroe Fields, Olive Fields, Modena Kelley, Brenda McClain, Cordella Moser, Alice Hornsby, Florence Fields, and Denoris Kelly.
Odell was a member of the St. Helens Church of Christ.
 
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. L.C. Moore officiating. Burial to follow in the Fields Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers: Nathan Fields, Craig Fields, Glendon Fields, Hunter Fields, Logan Fields, & Gary Neeley.
