Laretta Webb Stidham Obituary

Laretta Webb Stidham, 87, of Lexington, Kentucky, widow of Rex Stidham, Sr., went to be with

her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 23, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Laretta was born

November 9, 1937, to the late Johnie and Sophine Wilson Webb. She was also preceded in death

by siblings, Gerelene Newsome, Janette Murdock, Mavis Dean Murdock, and Martha Milam.

Laretta was a long-time member of Broadway Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers,

UK basketball, traveling, and being a part of the “Young at Heart” group.

Laretta will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Johnie Michael (Elizabeth) Stidham, McKee,

KY, and Rex (Mindy) Stidham, Jr., Lexington, KY, brother Bryant Kerns, Murray, KY, and sister,

Ruthie Wilfred, Mayfield, KY. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Lincoln Kuhn, Jackson

Kuhn, Caroline Stidham, and Harrison Stidham.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Broadway Baptist Church,

2500 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY at 1:00 PM with Dr. Daniel Ausbun officiating. Visitation

will be at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at

Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2089 Versailles Rd, Lexington, KY. Pallbearers will be Todd Wiese,

Lincoln Kuhn, Jackson Kuhn, Tim Miller, Mark Minor, Caroline Stidham, and Harrison Stidham.

Honorary Pallbearers will be her nephews.
