A Strong Week for Jackson County Boys Basketball
The Jackson County Generals Varsity Boys Basketball team had an incredible week - going two for three leaving them 7-9 for the season.
During the week's three matches, the team boasted an impressive 185 points and 95 rebounds: a tenacious effort that brought the team well-earned victories. This tenacity shined through during the Generals' away game against Harlan, where the team had six steals - four of which were by senior Braxton Clemons, and two by Tanson Truett, a starting freshman.
The 75-68 win against the Harlan Green Dragons was not the only highlight of the week, the Generals began the week with a 66-49 home court win against Lee County: a game that undoubtedly set them up for a successful week on the court.
